Audubon Bird Hike
While other parts of the country brace for the cold this month, soak up that Florida sun on Friday, December 7th, while you head over to the Audubon Bird Hike at Fort King Historic Landmark and Visitor Center from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Search for the native birds of Ocala during this free outdoor adventure through the Fort King National Historic Landmark Park presented by Marion Audubon Society.
David D’Alessandris One Man Exhibit
Later that night, check out Marion Cultural Alliance Holiday Party and Opening Reception for David D’Alessandris One Man Exhibit at Brick City Center for Arts from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Marion Alliance Board Member, David D’Alessandris presents his new exhibit, Beat & Path, made up by various medias and styles, including watercolor acrylic, pastel, and graphite.
First Friday Art Walk
Looking for some unique holiday gifts? Following the exhibit, head over to Downtown Square from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for the First Friday Art Walk which takes place the first Friday of each month. This event is free and includes over 30 art displays, live performances, family activities, and plenty of shopping opportunities!

Don’t miss the largest nighttime parade in the State! The 2018 Ocala Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, December 8th from 5:30 – 9:00 pm beginning at Tuscawilla Park and ending at E Silver Springs Boulevard.
