Fall is here, which means the holidays are coming and so are the sweets. On September 29th, dust off those running shoes and get ready to rack up the steps. Ocala has two walking/running events this weekend both supporting great organizations.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s Ocala
The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting Walk to End Alzheimer’s Ocala in Tuscawilla Park, an event that supports research efforts in the fight against Alzheimer’s. The event will be held rain or shine, children and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Registration begins at 8AM.
After supporting the cause, enjoy some shade under the large oak trees throughout the park. Tuscawilla Park, Ocala’s oldest and largest city owned park, has something for everyone. From duck watching to basketball, the park offers a wide range of activities for the entire family to enjoy.
