My family has owned this home since 2006 when it was new. Over the past seventeen years, we’ve lived through all of life’s seasons here. It served as our home, a home office, a playground, a refuge from the outside world and a welcoming destination for family and friends visiting from around the planet. Beyond all of the living we’ve done here, we also put a lot into maintaining and improving the property. For a detailed list of these investments, please either open the included attachment (MLS) or review the final three listing images (Zillow, etc.) The house was built by Reed Homes in 2005 as an Azalea model. It has just over 2,220 square feet of heated and cooled living space in a split bedroom floorplan. The master suite includes a large bedroom, bath and walk-in closet. Each of the guest bedrooms is comfortably sized and have easy access to a shared bath that includes a tub shower. The separate dining room is great for entertaining and the office/den has worked well as a home office for years. The screened patio offers additional living space and is the perfect vantage point over the back yard. We created a separate living room and kids' play area in the dining area next to the kitchen thereby making the kitchen the true center of the home. The pool, pool deck and much of the landscaping were installed in 2014. The pool is unique in that it has an Endless Pool Fastlane system for swimmers, two Lubell underwater speakers that deliver music below and above the water, and a Pentair system to both heat and cool the water, the latter being a real luxury during the dog days of summer. A new roof was installed in September and included the reinstallation of the solar panels that were installed in 2021. The solar system has allowed us to lower our cost for electricity while adding equity to the home. The interior of the home was just painted in a neutral palate to take advantage of the many light-filled windows around the house. All of the flooring, vanities and cabinets are original to the home but have been well-maintained. A $5,000 credit will be paid to the buyer at the closing that they can use to replace any of the aforementioned items if they so desire. The property is located in Evergreen Estates, a gated community just 5-10 minutes north of downtown Ocala. From the neighborhood you have not only easy access to town, but 301/441 is just to the west of the community, allowing faster trips to I-75 and points north and south. The neighborhood is walk-friendly and quiet. We love the simple pleasures provided by this home. This includes driving up to the house and being able to take in all of the beautiful landscaping and trees we added over the years, the many summer days we spent swimming in the pool, watching our kids grow and play in the backyard, spending time in one of our several seating areas around the pool, enjoying the abundant shade during a sunny summer day, or simply spending time with family and friends on our screened patio. Selling our home of so many years and in which we made so many memories is bittersweet indeed, but we know that it’s time to let another family have this house and property become their home for what we hope are many happy years to come.
