Fall Festivals Galore in Ocala

Looking for something to do on the weekends this fall Well, look no further than your own backyard. There are festivals, events and things to do galore in the area over the next few weeks. Get your map and your calendar and start planning now to be sure you make all of them!
If you grew up in Ocala you know the Blessed Trinity Carnival comes around this time of year complete with carnival rides, craft fair, games and food and it helps support the school. The carnival runs this weekend, 10/18 -10/21 on the grounds of BT off of SE 17th St.in Ocala.
The town of Micanopy is having their 38th Annual Fall Fesitival. Micanopy is the cute little town that time forgot located between Ocala and Gainesville. The festival has music on the town square, over 200 artists being displayed, food and more. Step back in time and enjoy yourself.
Next weekend, get plenty of rest because there are a lot of things to do. McIntosh is having it’s town 1890’s Fall Festival. The Pumpkin Run Classic Car Show will be going on on the grounds of the Castro farm on Hwy 27 across from Golden Hills. The Bad to the Bone BBQ Competition will be held at the Live Stock Pavilion off NE Jacksonville Rd on Friday 10/26. The Ocala Art Festival AKA FAFO will be taking place at the McPherson Complex on SE 25th Ave in Ocala on Sat and Sunday.
