My pick of the week for best neighborhood in Ocala is Meadow Wood Farms. This is a great deed restricted community just off of Hwy 40 West. Meadow Wood Farms offers private equestrian estates, riding trails, a community park and friendly neighbors. The HOA dues in Meadow Wood Farms are voluntary and are only $4.50 a month. The community has a monthly newsletter and a cookbook with recipes from residents. Meadow Wood Farms’s private park, Friendship Park, is a quite park with a playground and covered picnic area. The area is maintained by the community. Sit on your front porch and watch a passing horse and buggy, listen to the clip clop of the horses or listen to the soothing sounds of nature.
Meadow Wood Farms is close to HITS, only about a 15 minute trek. In fact many HITS attendee’s prefer to stay in this great area.
This neighborhood has a terrific website that has a lot of useful information such a deed restriction info and more. MWF Website
There are plenty of homes available for sale. If you would like to see any of the homes, please let me know I would love to show you what a wonderful neighborhood it truly is!
